Myself, as well as many others have gotten fines
from bylaw in west Vancouver, but I have yet to
see someone have their board taken away.
We've been threatened with that but I'm not sure
if they can actually take it or if they're just
bluffing. Why don't you go google west
Vancouver skateboard bylaw and have a look for
yourself?
