The looser your trucks are, the more control you have over your board. Control over your board= safer ride. In my opinion, anyway.

I ride mine semi tight. Steers mostly from the front too with my evo. Been riding like this forever, whenever I get on a superloose setup I cant do it. Dunno how ya do it and don't care/wont try. To me it is "fuck loose trucks!"

I used to ride tight trucks when I rode short boards because I thought it was easier to ollie and kickflip. I didn't like how control you loose with tight trucks.
Now since i've gotten more into longboarding stuff I have really loose trucks and it's certainly gotten me out of a few potential bad situations.
