Robbo replied,

Registration for Newton's Playground will close on the 20th of November 2009 or when remaining places have been filled whichever comes first, this is 1 week before the event. If you are intending to register for Newton's Playground you will have to do it by this date. There are about 25 rider places left, this has not been split into categories so first come first served.

The Australian Skateboard Racing Association and Newton's Playground event organizers are happy to announce a prize purse of $10,000 for this years event. We have moved heaven and earth to lift this years prize money to reflect the growth in participation and professionalism of our sport in Australia and around the world. We think this is reflected in the level of riding we are now seeing and hope this creates a benchmark of reward for all the riders that are about to compete for the IGSA World Championships.
