"this was the story So this is the story of me getting my first set of stitches/staples. Earlier yesterday i was skating with Billy and Mike(a dude from canada) at burlington doing some rainslides. For this i was wearing knee pads, a leather jacket and a brain bucket too, so after we got done with that we decided to skate on the little pathway that follows the railroad track. And usually i dont ride with any gear on that trail because it doesnt seem like you could bust your ass as easily. Welllllllllllll i was way wrong. I just got done pumping and then i was carving hard back and forth and when i was carving toeside i hit a wet spot with my back set of wheels which made end up sideway going down the paths. So when i was sideways my back was towards the way i was going, my board came to a stop and i flew backwards. The next thing i know i had blood dripping down my shirt my hands were covered and it felt like i was on a mild acid trip because i was seeing some crazy ass shit.Thank god i had people there and they knew what they were doing, the dude from canada was checking my pulse and told me that i had two gashes, i guess they resembled a snake bite or something. I had to sit down for 10 minutes before i could stand up, i only made it about 150 ft before i had to sit down again. Once Billy got his car we went to legacy, i walked in all bloody and haggard to shit, and nicely asked if i could get some stitches. Let me tell you something a needle in your scalp is something that you dont want to experience. Haha and then he pulled out a staple gun and thank god he tested that shit first because it was defective and would have stuck to my head. So he pulled out the second and stapled away. all in all it was definitly an experience to be remembered and documented. I can still say i've never broken a bone or actually had stitches though (knock on wood). And somehow i managed to bang up my right elbow, a couple shiners on the wrist, one on the right knee, and the thing that boggles my mind the most i how the fuck my jaw got messed up it seems like a pulled a muscle or something."
